Muscatine Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services including spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and related services in Muscatine, IA and surrounding areas.
Information on this website is for general informational purposes. It does not constitute a contract, guarantee of availability, or commitment to perform any specific service until a written estimate or agreement is signed by both parties.
Estimates provided by Muscatine Insulation are based on information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may change if site conditions differ materially from what was observed during the estimate, if the scope of work changes at the customer's request, or if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project.
All estimates are provided in writing. Verbal pricing discussed during a site visit is not binding until confirmed in a written estimate. Estimates are typically valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted.
Once a project is scheduled, we ask that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to reassign crew time and accommodate other customers.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as soon as possible and work to find the nearest available date.
For spray foam projects requiring occupant re-entry restrictions, the customer is responsible for arranging alternative accommodations for themselves, family members, and pets for the required period. Muscatine Insulation will provide the re-entry time in writing before work begins.
Payment terms will be specified in each written estimate or contract. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Accounts not paid within the timeframe specified in the written agreement may be subject to late fees and collection action. Muscatine Insulation reserves the right to place a lien on the property for unpaid services as permitted under Iowa law.
To allow us to complete the work safely and correctly, customers are responsible for:
Muscatine Insulation is not liable for delays or additional costs caused by inaccessible work areas, undisclosed hazardous conditions, or failure to follow re-entry instructions.
Muscatine Insulation warrants its workmanship against defects in installation for a period specified in the written project agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed through to the customer where applicable.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by pre-existing conditions not disclosed at the time of estimate, acts of nature, water intrusion from sources other than those addressed by the scope of work, or modifications made to the work by others after project completion.
Except as expressly stated in a written agreement, all services are provided "as is" without any additional warranty, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Muscatine Insulation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or services, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of savings, or property damage not directly caused by our negligence.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that project.
If a dispute arises between you and Muscatine Insulation, we ask that you contact us directly first so we have the opportunity to resolve it. Most concerns can be addressed quickly with a conversation.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation. Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration conducted in Muscatine, Iowa, under rules mutually agreed upon in writing.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action not resolved through arbitration shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Iowa.
